Well 2023, show us what you’ve got

2022 can only be described as another bonkers year when it came to politics both domestically and internationally.

With numerous PMs, countless scandals, sleaze, the economy crashed and a cost of living crisis, public sector workers with no option but to strike and a government so out of touch with regular people, the Tories STILL think they have a plan and are the ones to govern.

I think the arrogance is the hardest thing to understand and in Norfolk, where Tories have ‘controlled’ most local authorities and have MPs, they totally take the electorate for granted. ‘Levelling Up’ is something totally alien to Norfolk and the county has been neglected and ignored for years (did I mention the County Council pays £82,000 A DAY in interest on debt?)

So on the cusp of a new year, I look forward to change and the chance to get us back on track. Local elections are in May and while the government refuses to call a General Election, at local level at least voters will have a chance to send a strong message to Westminster and elect non-Tories.

It’s time for change.
